Viola primulifolia, or Primrose Leaf Violet, is native to most of the eastern half of the US. It is a perennial that grows in wet areas, like swamps, ditches, swales, fens, bogs and open, swampy woods. It blooms in late spring into early summer with white and purple flowers.
