Sium suave, or Hemlock Waterparsnip, is native to the entire continental US and Alaska. It is a perennial that grows in wetlands, marshes, swamps, wet ditches, streamsides, lake shores, bogs, fens and other wet areas. It blooms in late summer into fall with small white flowers.
