Phacelia bipinnatifida, or Fernleaf Phacelia, is native to Ohio River Valley and lower Appalachian area. It is a biennial that grows in dry to moist, rocky, partially shaded woods and along woodland edges. It blooms in early to late spring, after overwintering as a rosette of leaves, with purple and white flowers.
