Peltandra virginica, or Arrow Arum, is native to the much of the eastern half US,and is also found in Oregon and California. It is an aquatic perennial that grows on pond margins, ditches, swamps, bogs, marshes and other wet areas. It blooms in early to mid spring with green-white flowers.
