Oenothera filiformis, or Long Flower Bee Blossom, is native to the Appalachian area, as well as the South-Central US and Great Lakes area. It is sometimes and annual, and sometimes a biennial, depending on when it germinates. It grows in dry fields, prairies, open areas, clearings and open woods and along woodland edges. It blooms in early summer into late summer with white flowers.
