Nemophila menziesii, or Baby Blue Eyes, is native to Western United States, where it can be found in all of California, and a few places in Oregon and Nevada. It is a small annual that grows in fields, meadows, outcrops, grasslands, scrubs, clearings, prairies and woodland edges. It blooms from early to early summer with light blue flowers.

This plant looks similar to some other members of the genus. More information will be posted at a later time about differentiating other species.
