Limnanthes douglasii, or Poached Eggs, is native to California and Oregon, but it grown outside of those areas as an ornamental. It is an annual that grows in seasonally moist areas, like wet meadows and vernal pools. It blooms from early spring into mid to late summer, with striking yellow and white flowers.
