Ipomoea cordatotriloba, or Tievine, is native to the much of the southeastern US. It is a tender perennial that is grown as an annual in some places with cold winters; it grows in a variety of places, including woods and along woodland edges, ravines, riverbanks, as well as along roadsides and waste areas. It blooms year round where warm enough, and in late summer into fall in colder areas, with ypink to light purple flowers.
