Houstonia longifolia, or Long Leaf Bluet, is native to the most of the eastern half of the US. It is a perennial that grows in dry, rocky, sandy soils, in clearings, clearcuts, along trails, along woodland edges and in open woods. It blooms in mid summer with white flowers.
