Eurybia chlorolepis, or Mountain Aster, is native only to a small portion of the Appalachian Mountains where Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina meet. It is a perennial that grows in moist to dry woods at high elevations. It blooms in late summer into fall with bright white flowers.
