    Corydalis sempervirens, or Pale Corydalis, is native to the eastern third of the US, and is also present in Montana and Alaska. It is a dainty annual or biennial, that grows in rocky, sandy soil, and although the seeds do not store long, they seem to live a long time in the soil as they can show up in areas after disturbance in the soil. They can either bloom early in spring, or if not sprouting until spring, can bloom mid-summer into fall. It has pink and yellow flowers.

    This plant looks similar to some other members of the genus. More information will be posted at a later time about differentiating other species.
