Bidens tenuisecta, or Slim Lobe Beggarticks, is native to the southwestern United States, and Idaho, but is also adventive in some of the New England states. It is an small annual that grows in moist meadows and fields, streambanks. It blooms from mid summer into late fall with small yellow flowers.
This plant looks similar to some other members of the genus. More information will be posted at a later time about differentiating other species.
