Angelica venenosa, or Hairy Angelica, is native to much of the Eastern half of the US, but is rare in Michigan and not found in Wisconsin, Minnesota or Iowa. It is a perennial that grows in moist, often sandy, meadows, swamp edges and woodland edges or opening in moist woods. It blooms in mid to late summer with white flowers.
