Veronica americana, or American Speedwell, is native to most of the US, except the southeast. It is a perennial that grows in moist areas, like ditches, seeps, bogs, fens, streamsides, riverbanks and shorelines. It begins blooming in late spring and may continue throughout the blooming season.
