Symphyotrichum lanceolatum, or Panicled Aster, is native to the entire continental United States. It is a perennial that grows in open woods, along woodland edges, along shores and streamsides, as well as in fields, prairies, meadows, along roads and railroads. It has white flowers in late summer and fall.
