Streptopus lanceolatus, or Rose Twisted Stalk, is native to the Great Lakes area, the northern half of the Appalachian Mountains and also can be found in the Pacific Northwest. It is a perennial that grows in moist rich open woods, swamps and bog edges. It blooms in mid spring with white or pink flowers that hang like bells.
