Scutellaria parvula, or Small Skullcap, is native to the Eastern US. It is a perennial that grows in prairies, openings, clearings, savannas, glades, on ledges and bluffs, in open forests, in pastures, as well as along railroads and roads. It blooms in early spring with purple flowers.
