Salvia azurea, or Blue Sage, is native to the south-central and southeastern US, and is adventive in the Great Lakes area and a bit of the Southwest, also. It is a perennial, that grows in dryish meadows, prairies, fields and along woodland edges, and railroads and roadsides.
