Sagittaria rigida, or Sessile Fruit Arrowhead, is native to about the northeast quarter of the US, and is also rare in Nebraska and Kansas, and is adventive in a couple Western states. It is a perennial that grows in moist areas, like swamps, flats, bogs and shores. It blooms in mid summer to fall with white flowers.
