Rudbeckia maxima, or Large Coneflower, is native only to the "ArkLaTex," the area where Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana all meet, and it is rare in Arkansas. It is a perennial, that grows in moist to dryish meadows and roadsides.
