Rubus pubescens, or Dwarf Red Blackberry, is native to the northern half of the United States, and Alaska. It is a perennial, that grows in moist areas, like swamps, open wet woods, bogs and fens. It blooms in mid to late spring with small white flowers, and red berries follow in summer.
