Pycnanthemum muticum, or Short-Tooth Mountainmint, is native to approximately the southeastern half of the United States, but it is rare in the northern part of this range. It is a perennial that grows in meadows, prairies, fields, as well as thickets, and along railroads and roadsides and open woods.
