Platanthera huronensis, or Lake Huron Bog Orchid, is native to the Great Lakes states, and also the Rocky Mountain area, the Pacific Northwest and the Northeast. It is a perennial, that grows in wet areas, like bogs, fens and lakeshores. It blooms in mid summer, with greenish yellow flowers that are very fragrant.
