Physostegia correllii, or Correll's Obedient Plant, is native only to southern Texas and Louisiana, and is rare in both places known only from a handful of counties. It is a perennial that grows in moist meadows, fields, prairies and roadsides, as well as streambanks and woodland edges. It blooms in late summer with purple-pink flowers.
