Oxalis montana, or Mountain Wood Sorrel, is native only to the Appalachain Mountains, as well as a disjunct population in northern Michigan, northern Superior and eastern Minnesota. It is a perennial, that grows in rich, moist shaded woods and blooms in late spring through mid summer with white and pink candy stripe flowers.
