Minuartia michauxii, or Michaux's Stichwort, is native an odd disjunct area of the US, found in the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, the Ozarks and Central US and the Northeast. It is a perennial or annual that grows in dry, rocky areas, usually on cliffs and shorelines. It blooms in mid to late spring and early summer with small white flowers.
