Leucospora multifida, or Obi-Wan Conobea, is a native annual that can be found in most of the Central and Midwest US, leading into the eastern most states, but not present in all of them. It can be found in moist, low lying areas, such as gravel bars, fields, prairies and roadsides.
This species is the only in its genus in the US. It is a very tiny plant, that most overlook, or think is a weed. It can easily be distinguished by its deeply divided leaves and small pale flowers.
