    Leavenworthia uniflora, or One Flowered Gladecress, is native to the Ozarks and middle Midwestern United States. It is an annual that grows in dry, rocky glades. It blooms in early spring, dropping seeds and then dying for the year before germinating again in fall.

    This plant looks similar to some other members of the Leavenworthia genus. More information will be posted at a later time about differentiating other species.
