Ipomoea lacunosa, or Small White Morning Glory, is native to about the southeastern half of the United States. It is an annual that grows in moist areas like ditches, depressions, moist meadows and shorelines, as well as in fields, woodland edges and disturbed areas. It blooms from mid summer into fall, with small white flowers.

This plant looks similar to some other members of the genus. More information will be posted at a later time about differentiating other species.
