Idahoa scapigera, or Scalepod, is an annual native to the Western US. It grows in open, rocky areas, where it blooms in early spring.

This species resembles several other related mustard family species, but it is the only species in its genus, and it can be distinguished by its short stature, and its large, speckled seed pods, which contain relatively large seeds.
