Euphorbia nutans, or Nodding Spurge, is an annual that grows in the central and eastern half of the United States. It grows in open fields and prairies, and can also be seen growing in sandy, moist areas, like along ponds and shores. It can also show up in lawns and gardens.

Although there are many species of Euphorbia in the US, this species can be distinguished fairly easily by its erect habit of the stems, with nodding tips at the top of the stems.
