Engelmannia peristenia, or Engelmann's Daisy, is native to the South-Central US, and the eastern Southwest. It is a perennial that grows in dryish meadows, prairies, fields, clearings, glades and along roadsides. It blooms in late spring and summer with golden yellow flowers.
