Delphinium virescens, or Prairie Larkspur, is native to the Central US. It is a perennial that grows in dry fields, prairies, meadows, on slopes and along roadsides, as well as in dry, open woods. It blooms in mid summer with tall stalks of medium-sized whitish flowers.
