Campsis radicans, or Trumpet Vine, is native to most of the eastern half of the United States. It is a perennial vine that grows in moist to dryish open woods, and thickets, as well as along streamsides; it is additionally frequently cultivated and grows on fencerows, trellises, telephone poles and other areas where it can sprawl and grow. It blooms in mid summer with orange to yellow flowers.
