Bacopa monnieri, or Water Hyssop, is native to the southeastern coast, from Texas to Virginia and is adventive in California and Arizona. It is a perennial, or tender perennial, that grows in moist locations, like coastlines, shorelines, ditches, wet yards, swales and other wet areas. It blooms mostly year-round with white flowers.
